This program starts at Senaru and ends at Sembalun side. This program provides you the ultimate experience; thick rain forest a long Senaru trail and green emerald like savanna along Semabalun. The typical flora and fauna features of tropical rain forest are waiting to be discovered mostly at Senaru side. You may encounter birds, various types of butterflies, gray monkeys, and occasionally the endangered species of black ebony, and deers. Beside, you may also see orchids and other kinds of flowers and trees. The view of the local villages and hills on the backdrop is awesome at Sembalun side.

Day 01
Hotel – Senaru (601m) Starting Point / Post I
You will be picked up at your hotel at about 6 AM (presumably you stay in Senggigi) and be transferred to Senaru. As soon as you arrive at Senaru at about 8 AM, light and quick breakfast will be served before starting the noteworthy adventure.
 
Senaru – Post III (2000m)
During the early hours, you will walk through thick forested trails. Several necessary stops can be made at any times. After walking and enjoying the features for 3 hours, you will be arrive at Post II for a longer break as lunch will be cooked and served here. After enough post lunch break, the journey proceeds to Post III for 2 hours. Tent will most likely be set here for overnight. Nevertheless, based on your preference and weather permission, tent can possibly be set on the crater rim.

Day 2
Post III / Rim (2641m) – Lake (2000m)
Early in the morning, you’ll be woken up by light food and hot coffee or tea for breakfast before start walking up to the rim about 2 hours to enjoy the marvelous sunrise. After enjoying the sunrise and the outstanding views of Segara Anak Lake, the summit (3726m), and the surrounding areas in the distance, you will descend to the lake side and tent will be set for overnight here. Wander around the lake and pay a visit and plunge into the near by hot spring to get healed, as they believe it so.

Day 3
Lake – Sembalun
After breakfast, you will continue the wonderful journey and ascending up to Semabalun cater rim. Enjoy the awe inspiring views of the summit from up close, the lake from the other side and the surrounding areas in the distance. After taking break while enjoying the superb scenery, you will start descending down to Semablun through green savanna which makes the valleys look like green emerald. However, take break at Post III as lunch will most likely be cooked and served here. After lunch break, continue the downhill hiking to Sembalun where your vehicle is awaiting. Drive back to your hotel.
