Take an outrigger motorized boat from Senggigi Beach –the oldest tourist resort in Lombok– early in the morning and sail on the blue sea a long the coast to Ampenan the old trading harbor.

AMPENAN
Ampenan is an old trading harbor. The Arab and Chinese traders who came earlier settled here. Many old shop and other buildings are still left and are still in use. Along the journey from Senggigi to Ampenan, witness the coastal life portrait and fisherman’s activities. You may jump off the boat and get closer to them as long as it is possible.

Ride local “Ferrari”, cidomo horse cart, to the nearest local market to smell fresh fish and spices and other local commodities. After busy responding customary “hello mister” in the market, you will be taken to a pearl gallery in Mataram to see the best cultivated sea pearl, which Lombok is very famous for.

MATARAM
From the local market, drive on to Mataram, the capital of Lombok, to see the finest Lombok cultivated pearl. There are about three recommended pearl galleries in Mataram. You’ll be taken to one of them, and in case you want to see the other ones for comparison, we will be happy to show you.

BANYUMULEK
Banyumulek has been well known for pottery making village. The tour around the village to meet and greet the potters on work and see how they manipulate the clay into amazing shapes is remarkable. To day, the artists produce high export quality potteries in various ornaments such as egg shells, ketak, and white sand and so on.
